A unique ships deserves special care.

2012 is the year when the Sørlandet has her 5-year inspection by Det Norske Veritas, our class society. In connection with this survey the foundation, which owns, operates and keeps the Sørlandet, want to do repairs and upgrades resulting from the inspection.

For works to be carried out with the care and the time that the ship deserves the Foundation has kept the summer season open for the coming work. For this reason there will not be summer cruises with Sørlandet this year.
